The National Institute of Open
Schooling (NIOS) requires students to submit Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs)
before the last date. The TMAs are 20% of the external examination grade. If a
student doesn’t submit a compulsory TMA, they may fail the module unless they
can provide evidence of circumstances beyond their control.

The last
date for submitting a Tutor Mark Assignment (TMA) for the October 2024 exam at
the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is July 31 2024
Does NIOS give full marks
in TMA?
Internal Assessment (IA) including
Tutor Marked Assessment (TMA) in Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations
will carry 20% weightage in the External Examination and the marks will be
shown separately and added to the marks obtained in the External Theory
Examination and Practicals (wherever applicable).
Here are some tips for
writing a good NIOS Tutor Mark Assignment (TMA):
- Make an effort: Put in your best effort, and try
to highlight important points, draw margins, and include pictures or
illustrations.
- Be concise: Avoid overcomplicating your writing,
and think carefully about the theories you’ll use and how you’ll describe
them.
- Use lined paper: Use one-sided lined paper for
your answer scripts.
- Use A4 sheets: Write everything on A4 sheets,
and compile everything into a stick file.
- Include details: Include your assignment name,
details, enrollment number, name, subject and subject code, and AI
Centre’s name and code.
- Practice: Make short notes of every chapter, and
practice problems in Mathematics and Science.
- Review: Regular revision is
important for scoring well.

will be many things in it, but while scrolling down, They will see that the
column of tutor mark assignment . Three things would have been given in it like
download TMA, upload TMA and TMA status. Out of this, going to tma upload,
different subject would have been given, in that we will go to our subject and
upload TMA. after uploading TMA you can check it in TMA status. Below is the
