निम्नलिखित में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 40-60 शब्दों में दीजिए। Answer any one of the following questions in about 40-60 words.

 

(a)निम्नलिखित मॉडल तापीय विद्युत उत्पादन की प्रक्रिया को प्रदर्शित करता है।

1)  1 के रूप में चिन्हित उपकरण को पहचानिए और लेबल कीजिए ।

2)  धातु की चादरों से सज्जित टेनिस बॉल को घुमाया जाता है। कारण स्पष्ट कीजिए ।

3)  उस उपकरण का नाम बताइए, जो इस मॉडल द्वारा प्रदर्शित सिद्धांत पर निर्भर करता

4)  ऊर्जा का वह रूप जो विद्युत ऊर्जा में परिवर्तित हो रहा है। स्पष्ट कीजिए ।

 (b) सुनील ने एक कार को धूप में खड़ा कर दिया और सुरक्षा हेतु उसके दरवाजे एवं शीशे पूर्ण रूप से बंद कर दिए । कुछ समय के बाद कार के दरवाजे खोलने पर उसे यह महसूस होता है कि कार के भीतर का तापमान बाहर के तापमान की अपेक्षा अधिक था। समझाइए कि ऐसा ऊष्मा के किस प्रभाव के कारण हुआ ? यदि कार को सफेद कपड़े से पूर्णतः ढक दिया जाए तब उस कार के आंतरिक तापमान में कोई प्रभाव पड़ेगा, यदि हाँ, तो कारण स्पष्ट कीजिए ? (b) The car is parked in the sun by Sunil, and he completely closes the doors, and windows of the car for safety. After some time opening the doors of the car, he realizes that the temperature inside the car was higher than the temperature outside. Explain that due to which effect of heat this happened. If the car is completely covered with white cloth, then there will be any effect in the internal temperature of that car, if yes, explain the reason.(See lesson 14 )

 

2. निम्नलिखित में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 40-60 शब्दों में दीजिए Answer any one of the following questions in about 40-60 words.

 

(a) सर्दियों के मौसम में ठंड से बचने के लिए आग का प्रयोग ऊष्मा के रूप में किया जाता है। अत्यधिक ठंड होने के कारण शशि ने कमरे के तापमान को बढ़ाने हेतु कमरे में अंगीठी जलायी और कमरे की खिड़कियां, दरवाजे बंद कर दिए जिससे कि बाहर की सर्द हवा कमरे में न आ पाए। कुछ समय पश्चात उन्हें घुटन महसूस होने गली । जब कमरे की खिड़कियां और दरवाजे खोले गए तब घुटन से राहत महसूस हुई। वास्तव में इस घटना के मुख्य कारण को स्पष्ट कीजिए । (पाठ-26 देखें )

 

In the winter season, fire is used as heat to escape from the cold. Scientists choose 1/16 of the mass of a naturally occurring oxygen atom as the atomic mass nit. Explain the reason. (see Lessson-3)

4. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 words.

 

(a) अमृता अपने घर के समीप के वर्गाकार बगीचे के मध्य में बैठी हुई है। जिसका परिमाप 48 मीटर है । इस बगीचे के बाई ओर एक सड़क व दूसरी ओर एक इमारत है। कुछ बच्चों के द्वारा पटाखे जलाए जाते हैं जिससे ध्वनि उत्पन्न होती है। बगीचे में बैठी अमृता को इस पटाखे की प्रतिध्वनि सुनाई देगी या नहीं। कारण सहित अपने उत्तर को स्पष्ट कीजिए (पाठ-18 देखें)

 

Amrita is sitting in the middle of the square garden near her house. Whose perimeter is 48 meters. There is a road on the left side of the perimeter of this garden and a building on the other side. Firecrackers are lit by some children in the street, due to which sound is produced. Will Amrita sitting in the garden hear the echo of this sound or not? Explain your answer with reason. (b) निम्नलिखित गतिविधि का निरीक्षण कीजिए ।

 

Observe the following activity and answer the questions

 

 

(a)जिंक के क्रमश दो क्रिस्टलों के मध्य प्रतिक्रिया से परिवर्तन होता है। निरीक्षण कर परिवर्तन को स्पष्ट कीजिए।

 

The change between two crystals of zinc takes place by repulsion. Observe the change.

 

(b)(ii) अभिक्रिया में ताप परिवर्तन होता है। तापमान परिवर्तन के कारणों को स्पष्ट कीजिए ।

 

There is a change in temperature in the reaction. Explain the causes of temperature change

 

(c)(iii) यदि कांच की नली को तनु H, SO4 के संपर्क में लाया जाए तो दोनों के संपर्क में आने से अभिक्रिया में होने वाले रासायनिक परिवर्तन को स्पष्ट कीजिए।

 

If a glass tube is brought in contact with dilute H₂SO4. Explain the chemical change that takes place in the reaction when both come in contact.

 

(iv) रसायनिक अभिक्रिया में उत्पन्न H, गैस को एकत्रित करने की क्रिया विधि को स्पष्ट कीजिए।

Explain the mechanism of collecting H₂ gas produced in a chemical reaction.

(v) पानी में H, गैस की घुलनशीलता एवं अघुलनशीलता के प्रभाव को स्पष्ट कीजिए ।

 Explain the effect of solubility, and insolubility in water of H₂ gas.

 

(vi) हवा भारी है या H, गैस, कारण सहित स्पष्ट कीजिए ।

 

Explain with reason whether air is heavy or H₂ gas.

(a)  निम्न कथनों को तथ्यों के साथ स्पष्ट कीजिए

(b)   Justify the following statements with reason.

(i)     There are different types of turbine construction for different types of power plants.

(ii)    It is absolutely necessary to control the fission process in nuclear power plants.

(iii)  Hydroelectric energy, solar energy, and wind energy are called renewable energy.

(iv)    It is possible to produce energy from mW to MW using solar photovoltaic cells. (See lesson-12)

 

(b) विभिन्न प्रकार के बिजली संयंत्रों के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार के टरबाइन का निर्माण होता है। परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्रों में विखंडन क्रिया को नियंत्रित करना नितांत आवश्यक है। जलविद्युत ऊर्जा, सौर ऊर्जा और पवन ऊर्जा को नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा कहा जाता है। सौर फोटोवोल्टिक सेलों का उपयोग करके mw से MW तक ऊर्जा का उत्पादन संभव है।

 

(b) जैव विकास की आधुनिक संश्लेषणात्मकवाद के सिद्धांत के अनुसार, निम्नलिखित में से प्राकृतिक वरण का अर्थ समझाने वाले सही वाक्यांश का चयन कीजिए तथा अपने उत्तर की पुष्टि कीजिए

(क) अपने निकट क्षेत्र में जाएँ और निम्नलिखित सामान एकत्र करें ।

 

(i) तांबे के तार, (ii) सल्फर, (iii) एल्युमिनियम शीट, (iv) लोहे की कील, (v) आयोडीन क्रिस्टल

 

 

निम्नलिखित के उत्तर दीजिए

 

·         एकत्रित सामानों को धातुओं और अधातुओं में वर्गीकृत करें।

·         लोहे की कील पर भूरी परत होती है। कारण स्पस्ट कीजिए।

 

·         ऊष्मा के सुचालक धातु की सूची बनाइए और सुचालकता को परिभाषित कीजिए ।

·         धातुओं की जल के साथ अभिक्रिया लिखिए।
